Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise CTC lab operations by coordinating with equipment/process owners, task requestors, and lab staff to set priorities and schedule resources.
  • •Perform weekly process/equipment quality verification checks in an SPC-capable database and troubleshoot or escalate failures as needed.
  • •Provide first-level troubleshooting and basic maintenance to bring area equipment back online when compromised.
  • •Maintain lab safety, enforce rules, and ensure technician performance, training, and quarterly performance reviews.
  • •Manage lab inventory, staging materials, storage space, and perform equipment start-up and shutdown per task requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 81,250 - 115,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical preferred) with at least 4 years’ manufacturing or lab experience, including 1 year of supervision or leadership.
  • •Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical preferred) with at least 7 years’ manufacturing or lab experience, including 3 years of supervision or leadership.
  • •Alternatively, First Solar supervisory experience for at least 2 years in a manufacturing or lab setting.
  • •Intermediate computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PPT.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to train and develop associates.
