Key Responsibilities

  • •Erect structural steel for supercomputer halls, mechanical plants, substations, cooling yards, and site buildings including columns, beams, bracing, joists, and metal deck.
  • •Install miscellaneous metals such as stairs, ladders, platforms, catwalks, grating, handrail, embeds, and equipment frames.
  • •Fabricate and install pipe racks, aerial galleries, mezzanines, and support steel for chilled-water piping, cable tray, busway, and liquid-cooling distribution.
  • •Rig, hoist, and set structural members and heavy equipment-support steel using cranes and approved lifting gear; act as rigger or signal person when qualified.
  • •Follow fall protection, crane/rigging/hot-work/LOTO/PPE/permit rules and support inspection, punch-list, and turnover work through building and yard completion.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of ironworking experience on structural steel for commercial/industrial/heavy-civil projects (or equivalent military structural or rigging experience).
  • •Ability to read structural and erection drawings and work to AISC connection details.
  • •Hands-on proficiency with structural bolt-up, cutting, and safe use of aerial lifts, ladders, and material-handling equipment.
  • •Willingness to work at heights and outdoors on a changing construction site.
  • •Strong safety mindset with current OSHA 10 (or equivalent) training; willingness to work extended hours, nights, and weekends during critical windows.
