Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Planning & Management: Prepare project electrical works scope summary based on the tender documents and plan the estimation activities based on the tender requirements.
  • •Coordination Activities: Coordinate with Estimation Manager and Estimation Engineer for clarifying scope of works details and for preparation of precise Bill of Quantities and cost estimate; coordinate with Supply chain for offers from suppliers; coordinate bid submission with Document Controller and Estimation Manager.
  • •MEP Detailed Works: Prepare accurate Bill of quantities of all electrical materials, resources requirements including labour and plant and equipments; prepare cost estimate for all electrical works and submit for review by Estimation Manager.
  • •Integration with ESCO: Collaborate with ESCO team to incorporate energy-saving measures into the materials and resources quantity list.
  • •Associated Tasks: Review tender documents, drawings, technical specifications and project requirement details of MEP Projects and assess unspecified requirements for risks logs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating MEP projects electrical works for residential and commercial towers and industrial buildings
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating MEP projects electrical works in UAE or any other GCC countries
  • •ESCO industry experience preferred
  • •Ability to review tender documents, drawings and technical specifications to prepare accurate Bill of Quantities and cost estimates
