Key Responsibilities

  • •Consult with plant and field sales engineers to interpret and define new equipment applications.
  • •Develop complex drawings and bills-of-materials based on established product designs to support customer equipment applications.
  • •Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products, and advise relevant teams on interpreting information for accurate production.
  • •Manage purchaser onsite visits to approve/release equipment for shipping and manage manufacturing and engineering change notices.
  • •Use tools such as Bid Manager, AutoCAD, design automation, and MAPICS; consult with Quality for post-shipment issues; run complex application projects and technical training/seminars.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering concentration from an accredited institution.
  • •2+ years of engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • •2+ years of experience with AutoCAD and/or other engineering and design software programs.
  • •Preferred: BS in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Preferred: working knowledge of NEC/IEEE/UL and local electric codes, and ability to interpret customer specifications and electrical/mechanical drawings.
