Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with local legal requirements and relevant accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP) within strict timelines.
  • •Support audit/review processes and ancillary activities related to financial statement and audit preparation.
  • •Participate in deployment of business solutions to remove manual processes; identify and reduce manual processes and enhance operational control.
  • •Maintain internal control standards, implement audit points timely, update daily MIS/trackers, and complete mandatory trainings as required.
  • •Follow escalations and service level agreements, ensure timely follow-up on open issues impacting valuation, and produce regular internal KPI/management reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Commerce graduate or post graduate with relevant working experience.
  • •Professional qualification in Accounting fields such as CA, ICWA, CFA, or CS with relevant working experience.
  • •Strong accounting concepts and understanding of financial statements, valuations cycle, financial instruments, corporate actions, and accounting concepts.
  • •Ability to apply accounting standards (IFRS and/or US GAAP) to disclosures in financial statements.
  • •Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills; knowledge of cash reconciliation and income/expense is an added advantage.
