Job Summary

Own general ledger accounting and support month-end/year-end close, ensuring accurate recording under GAAP and Ind AS. Prepare journal entries for capital leases and reclassifications, perform P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, and drive financial reporting and management reporting. Lead internal controls and help with SOX compliance, coordinate audits, and handle direct/indirect tax work including quarterly tax packages with deferred/current tax.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee general ledger accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely GAAP-compliant recording and reconciliations.
•Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and variance analyses for P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
•Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Ind AS and support management reporting.
•Manage direct and indirect taxation activities, including advance tax calculations and quarterly corporate tax packages with journal entries.
•Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting regulations, support SOX compliance, and facilitate internal and external audits, while mentoring junior staff.

Salary: INR 1,588,350 - 2,647,250 annually

Key Requirements

•Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 6 to 8 years of professional experience.
•Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
•Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
•Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle) and MS Office, especially advanced Excel.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and effective communication.
