Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute and coordinate Group Insurance strategy for logistics and marine lines across global regions for DP World Logistics.
  • •Review, negotiate, and manage global and operation-specific insurance contracts to ensure sound, cost-effective cover.
  • •Advise on contract drafting, risk transfer implications, and pricing; escalate through Group Insurance channels and act as a referral point for regional teams.
  • •Support renewals and consolidation of newly acquired companies into Group Insurance programmes, including exposure assessment and communication of coverage.
  • •Monitor premium payments and claims, coordinate large losses with TPAs/brokers/insurers, analyse trends, and produce required monthly statistics and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of transport, logistics, or marine liability insurance experience, ideally in a P&I Club or a shipping/transport-focused law firm.
  • •Knowledge of marine liability legal concepts with ability to provide contractual review advice for insurance and indemnity provisions.
  • •Understanding of cargo insurance and marine liability in the context of logistics operations.
  • •Strong analytical skills using Excel.
  • •Strong negotiation skills (verbal and written) and strong document/presentation skills using PowerPoint and Word.
