Collections Specialist

Collect payments on assigned delinquent accounts by reviewing account documentation and system information, contacting customers by phone and written correspondence, and negotiating repayment arrangements. Maintain accurate collection records and generate delinquency/collection letters. Support customers with hardship agreements and repayment programs while processing payments and returned items, and coordinate with investors and/or insurers for mortgage-related delinquencies. Stay current on regulatory and investor policy changes and provide cross-training to new employees.
