Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor equipment to swage, straighten, anneal, and draw high-speed wire to finished diameters, maintaining required records.
  • •Run the rotary swaging process, feed wire through straightening rolls and defect detector, and manage coil start/stop procedures.
  • •Inspect defect detector readings, mark defective areas, and polish defective areas with a hand-held/air-operated grinder.
  • •Perform Total Preventative Maintenance tasks and complete required maintenance log entries.
  • •Use computer wand to transfer daily production data and maintain a clean, orderly work area while reporting malfunctions and safety issues.
