Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Design Management projects across the UK and internationally, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
  • •Manage sub-consultants: responsibility matrices, back-to-back contracts, contract updates, cash flow projections and monthly financial reports.
  • •Establish and implement Design Management procedures: roles/scope delineation, progress reporting, deliverables, budget/change control, approvals, meetings and design coordination.
  • •Assist in managing the Design Management team and mentor junior members to develop capabilities.
  • •Review work outputs from the Design Management team to ensure quality and contractual compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Understanding of the design process and project/programming skills.
  • •Experience in development and implementation of design management tools and procedures.
  • •Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness of projects.
  • •Construction knowledge/experience.
  • •Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and InDesign.
