Key Responsibilities

  • •Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data required for solar design.
  • •Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels using standardized tools and protocols.
  • •Conduct surveys and post-install inspections, including attic inspections and confirming readiness for AHJ/utility approval.
  • •Submit accurate survey/inspection data using mobile field tools and document findings for inspection readiness.
  • •Coordinate with install teams, project managers, AHJ, and customers to resolve inspection-related issues and schedule inspections as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 31.94 - 42.59 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Hold a valid state-recognized Electrical Certification at the Journeyman, Wireman, or higher level, and be in good standing.
  • •Previous PV design, PV installation, or PV electrical experience (e.g., reading blueprints/plans or testing wiring/circuitry) is helpful; minimum one year of field construction experience preferred.
  • •Comfortable working on roofs, using ladders, and in tight or elevated spaces; physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • •Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; able to pass a driving background check.
