Job Summary

Operate heavy construction equipment at the Tilcon NY Sand Plant to lift and transport materials, feed conveyors and hoppers, and load trucks. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and training policies, complete daily pre-shift inspections, and perform routine equipment maintenance such as lubrication and fueling. Communicate and coordinate with truckers and customers, follow PPE requirements, and maintain regular, timely attendance while being willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate heavy construction equipment to lift, transport, and load materials to and from storage or processing areas.
•Comply with environmental, health, safety, and training policies, procedures, and requirements.
•Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine equipment maintenance (e.g., lubrication, fueling, cleaning).
•Coordinate and communicate with truckers and customers as required.
•Wear required PPE and follow job site expectations, including working overtime and weekends as required.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent or 3+ years of practical work experience.
•Ability to operate assigned heavy equipment safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner to maximize plant productivity.
•Ability to operate equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, and haul trucks.
•Ability to communicate effectively with and work professionally with other personnel and read English.
•Successful completion of MSHA Training after onboarding.
