Job Summary

Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and improving electrical systems and machine controls. Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Project Engineering to execute equipment upgrades, commissioning, and start-up activities. Build knowledge of control architecture and capital equipment, assist with installations and training, and promote electrical safety by applying NEC and NFPA 70E (arc flash) standards. Contribute to preventative maintenance for substations and high-voltage switchgear and drive cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.

•Diagnose and resolve complex machine control and electrical issues in support of Maintenance Technicians.
•Lead and support machine and equipment upgrade projects from investigation and scope through installation, start-up, and commissioning.
•Develop working knowledge of new and existing capital equipment, including control architecture, hardware, and operating principles.
•Support Project Engineering with equipment installation, checkout, start-up, and operator/maintenance training.
•Promote electrical safety initiatives and contribute to preventative maintenance for electrical substations and high-voltage switchgear while participating in cross-functional teams.
