Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain application reference architectures, reusable templates, engineering patterns, and implementation guidance to accelerate delivery.
  • •Develop AI-enabled engineering capabilities, including reusable skills, agents, and tooling, and enable teams building agentic workloads.
  • •Build and enhance internal developer platforms, tooling, automation, and web applications, including the Coder developer platform, to create secure and productive environments.
  • •Establish and promote modern software engineering practices across AI-assisted development, cloud-native engineering, DevOps, testing, and the software development lifecycle.
  • •Partner with engineering teams via hands-on consulting, code reviews, workshops, and training to solve technical challenges and drive adoption of shared tools and practices.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of relevant software engineering experience in application development, developer tooling, or platform engineering.
  • •Hands-on web development experience using Python, TypeScript, React, or a comparable modern stack and strong understanding of SDLC practices.
  • •Experience developing solutions on AWS or another public cloud; exposure to CI/CD, infrastructure automation, DevOps, or cloud-native engineering is preferred.
  • •Experience with or interest in AI-assisted software development and agentic technologies; Amazon Bedrock, Claude Code, or AI agents are a plus.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
