Job Summary

Oversee and manage construction projects in the Maldives, ensuring safe, efficient delivery within budget and schedule. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to execute plans, resolve technical issues, and meet quality standards. Review drawings, specifications, and contracts for compliance, monitor progress and risks, and maintain project documentation. Support cost estimation, budget management, and reporting, including procurement and permitting coordination.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget.
•Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure compliance with design requirements and contractual obligations.
•Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and support smooth execution.
•Procure required materials, equipment, and services, and monitor progress and work quality while identifying risks or delays.
•Prepare and maintain project documentation (reports, drawings, change orders, RFIs) and support cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in construction/project delivery.
•Proficiency in construction project management methodologies and techniques.
•Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials, including reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
•ERP knowledge with preferably SAP functional skills.
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering, or a professional degree related to MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA).
