Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues by pulling data to determine root cause and corrective action, enabling efficient repairs.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment and maintaining shop/customer readiness.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations; perform preventive maintenance and repairs when traveling is required.
  • •Maintain accurate paperwork/electronic documentation daily, assist with equipment/parts pick-up and delivery, and help train lower level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6–12 months if not already certified).
