Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a D-10 Dozer with concave blade to gouge out, level, and distribute petroleum between storage and re-claimer locations.
  • •Operate bulldozer and other equipment (Front End Loader, Bobcat, Manlift, Track Hoe, and Forklift) to meet grade and operational needs.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance on mobile and stationary equipment (lubricating, cleaning, greasing, adding gear lubricants) and document maintenance activity.
  • •Train and assist with overhead crane operations and remote controlled ship loader operations, including safe loading of vessels.
  • •Support coworkers and maintenance crews, perform rail operation training, and comply with safety and environmental programs and all company/customer standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
  • •Minimum 8 months to 1 year of heavy equipment experience, especially D9 dozers and track hoes.
  • •Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and an acceptable driving record; be willing to use personal and/or company vehicle.
  • •Must complete required Safety training/certification for customer facilities and Kinder Morgan locations.
  • •Must obtain/meet foreign trade zone requirements, including maintaining a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC), and complete DISA testing and respiratory fit testing.
