Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support to Senior Paralegal and Counsel in responding to legal orders.
  • •Analyze and respond to legal orders, escalating validity issues and objections for review.
  • •Maintain accurate fulfillment records by uploading to case management systems/shared drives and ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • •Work with Counsel on large, complex, and highly confidential subpoena productions and validate RFPA privacy law requirements before release.
  • •Research court dockets, contact clerks and issuers for extensions, and provide regular progress updates while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in legal studies or criminal justice, or a paralegal certification.
  • •2–3 years as a litigation, regulatory, or government paralegal/legal assistant in a law firm or government agency.
  • •Experience working with attorneys, including managing litigation dockets and attorney calendars.
  • •Experience preparing responses to discovery and/or regulatory requests.
  • •Strong legal terminology knowledge and the ability to analyze legal orders for validity, objections, and prioritization.
