Key Responsibilities

•Complete desk top reviews and risk assessments (pre & post loss) for underwriting evaluating and summarizing exposures and controls.
•Work with underwriting, claims, the client and the broker to develop customized loss control programs including locations to be surveyed, scope and cost of risk consulting services.
•Generate and review required reports and recommendations. Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with departmental performance objectives.
•Survey client operations to obtain data, identify hazards, discuss findings with appropriate parties, and generate loss control reports and recommendations.
•Appoint/monitor third parties ensuring adequate contract controls with budgets agreed up front and ensure quality of work provided by third parties.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•7+ years of loss prevention engineering experience in power generation or related natural resources sectors
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
•Strong knowledge of operational conventional power and utility occupancies (gas turbines, diesels, hydros/tidal, biomass, nuclear, geothermal, thermal solar) and renewable energy occupancies (wind, solar, battery storage, hydrogen)
•Experience or background in managing/coordinating large global corporate accounts within various occupancy sectors
•Ability to travel throughout the US, with potential for Canada or international travel
