Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate transport of flight hardware and required support equipment to ensure safe, successful launches.
  • •Provide logistics and transport hardware recommendations to comply with DOT/CFR regulations.
  • •Interface with manufacturing, engineering, mission management, and outside transportation vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment, vehicles, and hardware.
  • •Direct transport readiness for equipment, including guidance to transport technicians as needed.
  • •Develop, document, and coordinate packaging efficiency for flight vehicles, modules, and equipment; create reports, presentations, and logistics metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations management, business administration, or supply chain; or 2+ years of professional experience with logistics or scheduling in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience with ERP systems for receiving and inventory.
  • •Knowledge of DOT regulations and CFR (code of federal regulations).
  • •Knowledge of HazMat shipping and ordnance handling.
  • •Ability to maintain a positive working attitude during stressful working conditions and contribute to continuous improvements.
