Key Responsibilities

  • •Own engineering execution and technical direction for the Conversation Product Area, including Agent Engine, evaluation infrastructure, Search platform, and AI Voice (Speak).
  • •Co-lead the Product Area with a product counterpart, operating as a single leadership unit for planning, prioritization, and representation.
  • •Manage ~70 engineers across ~9 teams, with Senior Engineering Managers and Staff/Principal engineers reporting to you.
  • •Drive migration of existing agentic infrastructure onto the shared Agent Engine in partnership with product teams across Spotify.
  • •Set technical strategy and standards for voice investment and evaluation, and enforce engineering quality practices (code review discipline and test coverage).
