Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely in a manufacturing environment using all plant safety procedures.
  • •Work with end-use customers to define and execute new opportunities, including part design, design for manufacturing, and DFMEA.
  • •Specify, purchase, track, and control new equipment purchases (tools, machines, automation).
  • •Lead cross-functional teams through NPL and propose continuous improvement projects with strong ROI.
  • •Manage CapEx installs, facility infrastructure/maintenance, and environmental compliance; support daily operations including mold troubleshooting, repairs, PM, and refurbishments as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • •8 years hands-on plastic project engineering experience.
  • •Preferred: 10 years hands-on process and project engineering in a plastics plant.
  • •Mechanical knowledge of plastic processing equipment, including injection molding machines, automation, conveyance, utilities, and packaging.
  • •Knowledge of Six Sigma and analysis tools (Control Charting, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone Analysis, Pareto Analysis, SPC) and ability to read 2D/3D technical drawings.
