Job Summary

Join the Offshore Energy Natural Resources underwriting team in London. You’ll support underwriting activities for the Offshore Energy line of business, focusing on the Upstream and Offshore Renewables portfolio. Take ownership of key parts of the underwriting process, contribute to profitability targets, ensure accurate policy review/pricing/issuance, and collaborate with Risk Consulting, Claims, Distribution, and Operations while building strong broker and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Support all underwriting activities within the Offshore Energy line of business.
•Assist in achieving profitability targets for new and renewal business.
•Contribute to contract certainty at inception by ensuring precision in underwriting processes and procedures.
•Contribute to the development and execution of the regional underwriting strategy.
•Collaborate with Risk Consulting, Claims, Distribution, and Operations; prepare management reporting and analytics and maintain data quality.

Key Requirements

•Prior experience in corporate insurance in the London market, ideally Offshore Energy underwriting.

•Commercial acumen and ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients.
•Strong communication skills and awareness of the legal and regulatory environment.
