Key Responsibilities

  • •Locate and diagnose failures; replace defective components and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, manuals, and instructions.
  • •Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • •Perform electrical maintenance: test circuits, install/replace power, light, control circuits; troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and inspect wiring for grounding/shielding.
  • •Repair complex electrical systems (motors, switches, switchboards, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, automated machines, communication systems/alarms) and perform complex wiring.
  • •Follow preventive maintenance schedules, maintain repair/maintenance logs, keep the shop and production floor safe/clean, and report shift metrics (downtime/breakdown, part availability).

Key Requirements

  • •Trade school certification (or Associates) in Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent journeyman-level training and experience preferred.
  • •3+ years experience as an Industrial Electrician multi-craft (electrical and mechanical) maintenance technician preferred.
  • •Knowledge of plant utility systems maintenance & operations, plus industrial machine repair/reliability techniques.
  • •Ability to read and work from prints/technical drawings and technical/non-technical documentation.
  • •Understanding of 3-phase & control power and electrical components (relay logic, DC drives, and basic PLC systems).
