Job Summary

Drive the effective implementation and oversight of the Data Privacy and Protection (DPP) program for APAC, partnering with business stakeholders to embed privacy controls across people, process, and technology. Conduct privacy impact assessments, third-party privacy assessments, manage record-of-processing documentation, and advise on evolving data protection regulations. Lead DPP requirements for new initiatives, respond to data subject requests, support breach closure, and monitor control effectiveness to ensure ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Embed company DPP policies, processes, and standards with business stakeholders.
•Implement data protection by design across business processes, applications, systems, databases, and services.
•Perform data protection impact assessments and third-party privacy/security assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
•Maintain and ensure records of processing (including data flows and cross-border transfers) are accurate and up to date.
•Respond to data subject requests and drive closure of personal data breaches in line with DPP policies and applicable laws.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, or a related field.
•Advanced relevant work experience in DPP program management, risk management, audit, or compliance.
•Advanced experience advising on complex data protection matters and risk management activities.
•Advanced experience working with large, multi-national organizations and delivering compliance projects.
•Deep knowledge of global data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR; relevant certifications such as CIPP/CIPM/CIPT (preferred).
