Job Summary

Senior instrumentation CAD designer supporting Oil, Gas and New Energies projects. Develop 3D instrument layouts and loop drawings, instrument location diagrams, trays, and cable routing using AutoCAD, CADWorx, Navisworks and AVEVA E&I. Based in Capital Federal, Argentina, collaborating with engineering teams to produce detailed I&C drawings and BOMs for OGNE projects.

Job Function: Communications, PR & Community

Key Responsibilities

•Create technical drawings to company/industry standards from equipment specifications, including detailed drawings for engineering deliverables
•Prepare drawings involving plans, layouts, calculations and bill of materials
•Work on a range of design tasks that include procedures and design techniques
•Record observations, perform calculations and prepare reports on assigned tasks
•Design and verify drawings from base data and translate sketches into detailed project plans

Key Requirements

•Technical tertiary education in a relevant discipline; diploma or equivalent
•Strong experience producing technical drawings from sketches or general engineering/design information to established standards
•Proficiency with AutoCAD (mandatory); CADWorx (mandatory); Navisworks (mandatory); AVEVA E&I (preferred)
•Ability to interpret engineering standards, piping specifications, P&IDs and line lists
•Detail-oriented with strong mathematical skills and ability to translate concepts into practical project plans
