Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at military installations.
  • •Conduct one-on-one counseling, consultations, briefings/presentations, and provide referral resources as appropriate.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials and assist service members with spending plans during extended absences.
  • •Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle, responding to requests for age-appropriate classes.
  • •Manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol and communicate trends/issues through regular individual and group supervision; participate in training/quality activities as assigned.

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (or may consider associate degree plus 4 years’ experience, or high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • •Obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation; complete OCI disclosures; hold an AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
