Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of Technology System engineers and Product Performance engineers predominantly based in China, including potential satellite teams in the region.
  • •Be accountable for overall team deliverables by planning people demand, allocating resources, and prioritizing engineering/product development activities for timely execution.
  • •Manage performance and professional development of individual engineers and establish a culture of high performance through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • •Develop and execute regional technology systems strategy for fluids, thermals, and related technologies, including process/ways-of-working integrated into product development.
  • •Plan and manage OPEX/CAPEX budget and spend, and manage laboratories and equipment under the team’s remit.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •A credible engineering degree and at least 8 years of experience in engineering or product development.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading and growing small to medium sized technical teams.
  • •Expertise in Fluid Dynamics, CFD, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Mechanical Engineering fundamentals applied to complex consumer products and engineered systems.
  • •Experience managing demanding cross-functional stakeholders with conflicting interests.
  • •Excellent communication across all levels, from graduates to board members, with confidence and appropriate detail.
