Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native data platforms on AWS/Azure.
  • •Develop and optimize ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • •Implement data quality, lineage, and cataloging, and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • •Operate the platform with monitoring/alerting, troubleshooting, CI/CD, and disaster recovery including backup and failover.
  • •Partner with data scientists, BI, and developers to enable analytics and AI/ML workloads; mentor junior engineers and share best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •15+ years total work experience in technology infrastructure.
  • •10+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
  • •Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure) and big data/data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Flink).
  • •Proven expertise building data pipelines with tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, and Kafka, plus strong SQL and programming (Python, Java, or Scala).
