Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop original research on asset allocation, portfolio construction, relative value, and strategic portfolio management topics.
  • •Build and enhance proprietary models and analytical tools for client analysis and multi-asset portfolio management.
  • •Create innovative approaches to portfolio construction, asset allocation, and asset/liability modeling.
  • •Produce tailored asset allocation and portfolio construction analyses for institutional clients, including investment proposals and ongoing portfolio management.
  • •Refresh Capital Market Assumptions by improving methodologies, expanding asset coverage, and updating assumptions over time.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 225,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3-8 years of experience at an asset management firm with direct involvement in quantitative investment research, asset allocation, risk management and/or portfolio construction.
  • •Advanced Python programming for quantitative analysis and financial modeling, plus strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • •Strong investing fundamentals across a wide range of asset classes, ideally including private markets.
  • •Thorough understanding of economics, financial theory, portfolio theory, liability modeling, optimization, and portfolio construction techniques.
  • •Experience using or knowledge of risk systems such as MSCI RiskMetrics, Barra, Bloomberg PORT or FactSet is a plus.
