Perform a variety of construction and paving labor duties in a utility role, moving between tasks as site needs change. Help keep work areas safe by following safety policies and OSHA/MSHA requirements, reporting issues to supervisors. Assist crews with tasks like shoveling and raking, supporting equipment operations, handling and leveling materials, and installing/removing traffic control devices, while meeting attendance and physical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures and using appropriate tools and equipment.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations; report problems to the appropriate leadership.
•Assist construction/paving crews with tasks such as shoveling and raking, running wheelbarrows, and safely backing/dumping trucks into pavers.
•Signal operators of construction equipment to help with alignment, movement, and materials placement.
•Follow direction of the Foreman for daily tasks and expectations; may run small power tools and perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED is preferred.
•Previous related experience in the construction field.
