Job Summary

Lead and govern service transition programs from inception to completion, ensuring projects follow required governance, tools, and client requirements. Plan and manage testing, training, and change management to reduce risk and failure. Conduct due diligence to clarify exact client requirements, coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions, and keep parties informed with regular communications and reports. Serve as a people manager for a cross-functional transition team while fostering an operational-excellence culture.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement, run, govern, and control transition programs from inception through completion.
•Manage risk by planning and ensuring execution of testing, training, and change management activities.
•Undertake due diligence to determine exact client requirements.
•Plan and manage the execution of service and outsource transition projects using project management methodologies.
•Act as a people manager to the cross-functional transition team and develop team members.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and standards (Waterfall and Agile).
•Solid experience in service transitioning and project management, preferably in a global IT services organization.
•Experience across contractual review and service definition.
•Ability to develop and enhance client and stakeholder relationships.
•Relevant certifications/education such as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent) and preferably ITIL; PMBOK and/or Prince II are desirable.
