•Develop and execute a comprehensive Navy business development strategy aligned with corporate growth goals.
•Shape and influence requirements early in the acquisition cycle to align with Red 6’s capabilities.
•Manage the full BD lifecycle: opportunity identification, capture strategy, proposal support, and contract transition.
•Establish and maintain trusted relationships with Navy decision-makers, industry partners, and integrators.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure customer success, and provide weekly/quarterly progress reporting.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in a business development leadership role.
•20+ years in the U.S. Navy, preferably retired Commander rank or higher.
•Background in modeling & simulation, flight training, or LVC systems.
•Demonstrated success capturing large-scale Navy contracts, preferably in emerging tech or training domains.
•Strong knowledge of Navy acquisition programs, POM processes, and contracting vehicles (e.g., SBIR, OTA, IDIQ).
