Job Summary

Manage financial reporting, statutory audit and tax reporting for SSC and WPP operating units, ensuring compliance with IFRS, SOX, and group policies. Own period-end closing activities (GL, fixed assets, bank/tax transactions), subledger closure, intercompany balance mismatch reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare and analyze management reports across monthly/quarterly/annual cycles, support operational master data and procurement/HR administration matters, and identify continuous process improvements in SSC operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform period-end closing activities per the closing calendar, including accurate GL, fixed assets, and bank/tax transaction processing.
•Ensure subledgers are accurately closed by SSC OTC and PTP teams.
•Review and resolve intercompany balance mismatches; explain/adjust as needed.
•Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and resolve differences/long-standing items in a timely manner.
•Prepare and analyze management reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) and ensure financial statements follow IFRS, SOX, and group policies; support process improvements and ad hoc projects.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, and/or a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA).
•Minimum 4 years of experience handling full set of accounts and management reporting.
•Prior experience in audit and tax is an added advantage.
•Exposure to MNC environments and consolidated group accounts is beneficial.
•Experience with ERP systems (added value).
