Key Responsibilities

•Elicit, derive, and define system-level and subsystem-level requirements for JPALS and adjacent programs.
•Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear, testable engineering requirements.
•Apply systems thinking to understand how hardware, software, and interfaces interact.
•Learn to develop and maintain requirements in IBM Rational DOORS, including traceability and change analysis.
•Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and requirement assessments.

Key Requirements

•Experience in systems engineering concepts such as requirement derivation, interface definition, integration, or verification.
•Ability to create or maintain technical documentation (specifications, ICDs, or similar).
•Familiarity with IBM Rational DOORS or other requirements tools.
•Exposure to digital engineering tools (Cameo, Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Confluence).
•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
