Job Summary

Support the crypto accounting lifecycle for SoFi Bank, including month-end close activities, subledger review, journal entry preparation, variance analysis, and control execution. Partner with Crypto Operations and cross-functional teams to investigate reconciliation differences and resolve variances. Assist with monthly/year-end close and annual audit support, perform balance sheet/income statement analysis, and prepare SEC-related tie-outs, reports, and documentation of accounting processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the accounting lifecycle for crypto-related activity, including month-end close, subledger review, and journal entry preparation.
•Review crypto subledger activity and transaction-level details to ensure completeness, accuracy, and appropriate accounting treatment.
•Investigate reconciliation differences, escalate issues timely, and partner with Crypto Operations and cross-functional teams to resolve variances.
•Coordinate with Crypto Operations to understand operational workflows, transaction lifecycle events, exception handling, and impacts on accounting.
•Assist with monthly/year-end close and annual audit support, and prepare SEC tie-outs and analytical/statistical reports for stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 67,200 - 126,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, or equivalent.
•Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures.
•Strong organizational, analytical, mathematical, and project management skills.
•Strong knowledge of accounting theory and practice.
•Computer skills including Excel, Word, and general ledger systems.
