Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the planning process for projects and initiatives, developing detailed schedules, allocating resources, and defining timelines to ensure execution.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain effective communication and coordination.
  • •Oversee resource allocation and utilisation, forecasting resource needs and adjusting plans as business needs change.
  • •Monitor planning activities and KPIs, preparing and delivering reports to senior management covering status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • •Provide leadership and guidance to junior planners, improve planning methodologies and processes, and act as a main point of contact for key stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional Project Controls experience specialising in Planning & Scheduling across the project lifecycle in one or more sectors.
  • •Strong proficiency with Primavera (P6) and other planning and resourcing software, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Ability to demonstrate leadership behaviours, influence others, and coach and develop a team in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • •Proficient in planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera and Excel, leveraging them for tracking and reporting.
  • •Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance (nuclear experience is desirable but not required).
