Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I for a Financial Center by using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs and recommend retail consumer and small business solutions. Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, including certification. Meet production and customer experience goals, support cross-selling and outside sales, and process teller transactions while following risk, ethics, and confidentiality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, followed by a certification.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and other approved marketing tools and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers, engage in outside sales activities, and process teller transactions while supporting the Financial Center team.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Comfort developing new consumer household and small business customer relationships and cross-selling to established customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
