Senior Software Engineer to join Addepar’s Data Platform engineering team. You will build and own end-to-end services that scale for enterprise use, architect distributed systems, and deepen technical expertise in big data processing to enable AI-powered insights within finance workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Join a data platform team to design, build, and maintain scalable services and systems for enterprise-level data and AI products.
•Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to evolve platform capabilities and accelerate delivery.
•Develop deep expertise in distributed systems and big data processing technologies.
•Architect lakehouse-type end-to-end solutions and interfaces to enable seamless development with agentic AI.
•Contribute to code quality, performance, and reliability improvements across the data platform.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 158,000 - 197,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
•At least five years of experience
•Experience working with cloud infrastructure directly with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) on AWS
•Deep technical knowledge of Java or Python, and datastores like DynamoDB, Postgres, MySQL, etc.
•Distributed systems design & distributed processing through technologies such as Apache Spark or Databricks / Snowflake is a plus
