Job Summary

Join the Night Shift team to safely load trailers with finished product in Pilgrim’s Arcadia facility. You’ll operate scanning and weighing tools to inventory, palletize, and help fulfill customer orders, while keeping stock rotated and areas sanitized. The role also includes operating forklift and pallet jack, monitoring the x-ray process, and escalating shipping or process concerns to supervisors. Safety and continuous improvement are core to the position.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently load trailers with finished product.
•Operate and maintain the auto scale and perform manual scaling at the re-weigh station.
•Use handheld scanner equipment to inventory, palletize, and accurately fill customer orders.
•Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently, and load trucks with equipment or by hand.
•Ensure inventory accuracy by running and verifying inventory reports, rotating stock, monitoring x-ray, and reporting shipping problems.

Key Requirements

•Ability to follow written and verbal direction and communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership.
•Previous forklift experience required and ability to obtain a valid Pilgrim’s forklift license.
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and work in a cold environment.
•Previous experience loading trucks and fulfilling customer orders.
•Experience working with inventory control systems and handheld scanner equipment.
