Job Summary

Lead simulation-driven research and development for underground mining vehicle powertrain and thermal systems. Drive end-to-end powertrain and thermal integration across ICE, hybrid, and EV platforms, building and maintaining system-level simulation models using GT-SUITE and MATLAB/Simulink. Run multi-physics simulations (hydraulics, powertrain dynamics, thermal networks), integrate AI/ML for faster simulation and digital twins, and help develop and validate control strategies to optimize performance and energy management.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Lead full vehicle powertrain and thermal system integration across ICE, hybrid, and EV platforms.
•Develop and maintain system-level simulation models and run multi-physics simulations (hydraulics, powertrain dynamics, thermal networks).
•Integrate AI/ML models to enhance simulation speed and support digital twin creation.
•Support development and validation of thermal and powertrain control strategies to improve performance and energy management.
•Perform vehicle performance calculations, coordinate powertrain system design component selection, and report progress to the Team Manager.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience with GT-SUITE and MATLAB simulation activities.
•Solid understanding of diesel powertrain designs and electric vehicle technologies.
•Knowledge of thermal system management and data analytics to interpret complex simulation outputs.
•Familiarity with troubleshooting and testing procedures, vehicle mechanics, and system integration.
•Basic project management skills for coordinating cross-functional delivery.
