Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct inspections and restoration of electrical systems, including motors, generators, and high-voltage switchgear, and lead assembly, testing, and acceptance.
  • •Drive upgrades and retrofits by managing hardware/software update projects, electrical redesign, schematic drawing, wiring harness planning, and component selection.
  • •Manage pre-delivery electrical testing, supervise installation, and lead system commissioning and trial runs to ensure integration with mechanical subsystems.
  • •Provide after-sales electrical fault troubleshooting and rapid response via on-site and remote support, and deliver customer safety-focused training.
  • •Create technical reports and documentation (maintenance guides, fault handling manuals) and support spare parts planning and inventory management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
  • •3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrical systems in mining equipment, construction machinery, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • •Experience with major equipment repair, remanufacturing, and upgrade/retrofit initiatives.
  • •Deep understanding of electrical control principles, including sensors, PLCs, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) used in mining applications.
  • •Proficiency in PLC programming and commissioning (Siemens and Mitsubishi) plus electrical design software such as CAD and EPLAN.
