Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead customer connectivity discovery, covering requirements, regulatory constraints, edge topology, and implementation constraints.
  • •Produce decision-ready connectivity designs and Bills of Materials for VPNaaS and Direct Connect-as-a-Service, including MACsec, MPLS, and cloud peering.
  • •Define edge handoff models, segmentation and routing designs, NAT/DNS considerations, inspection chains, and egress controls.
  • •Map compliance requirements to BSI/VS-NfD and customer security policies, identifying approved and prohibited options and providing comparative options for pricing review.
  • •Create and maintain reusable connectivity templates and patterns libraries, and coordinate workshops to document decisions and ensure clean handover to delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in enterprise and cloud connectivity, including routing (BGP), segmentation, NAT, DNS, and VPN patterns such as IPsec VPN, MACsec, MPLS, and Direct Connect.
  • •Experience with regulated or sovereign cloud environments and frameworks such as BSI or VS-NfD (or equivalent) is a strong plus.
  • •Ability to translate complex technical options into decision-ready recommendations for customers and stakeholders.
  • •Experience working across internal engineering teams and external customers simultaneously.
  • •Structured working style with the ability to create reusable assets and connectivity templates, not only one-off solutions.
