Key Responsibilities

  • •Support clients through disaster recovery by providing technical assistance to navigate funding, documentation, and rebuilding processes.
  • •Deploy to Emergency Operations Centers and/or Field Staging Areas before, during, and after disasters to support on-the-ground recovery operations.
  • •Perform recovery functions such as logistics, supply coordination, cost documentation, and resource management.
  • •Analyze and evaluate recovery project applications, documentation, and inspection reports for accuracy and compliance with applicable recovery program requirements.
  • •Manage recovery projects from initiation through closeout, using grant management and tracking systems to monitor progress and funding milestones.

Key Requirements

  • •7 years of professional experience, including 1+ years in an Emergency Management role (Response, Recovery or related), or equivalent.
  • •Broad knowledge of Emergency Management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • •FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study - Professional Development Series certification; must be able to travel/deploy with minimal notice and successfully complete WSP Motor Vehicle screening.
