Job Summary

Lead technical delivery for New Product Development and New Technology Development projects, from early critical-to-quality requirements through design reviews, validation, and industrialization. Translate customer needs into product technical specifications, develop mechanical designs and models, and validate using CFD/FEA. Coordinate engineering documentation, prototype testing, and risk mitigation, while serving as a recognized PSV expert and mentoring other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead NPD/NTD technical work from conceptualization through design reviews, validation, certification, and industrialization.
•Clarify project inputs, align teams on needs, organize technical activities, and validate schedules against specifications.
•Create and maintain product technical specifications and engineering document repositories (models, drawings, guidelines, instructions, charts, certified prints).
•Perform product design and models, including calculation notes and validation via CFD/FEA, then coordinate prototype test setup and analysis.
•Support risk identification and mitigation, complete functional analysis and FMEA for new designs, incorporate DF(X), and mentor engineering teams.

•Working knowledge of FEA/CFD, ideally using Solid Works and/or ANSYS.
•Strong material knowledge for valve applications and PSV-related codes (ASME, API, EN), plus pressure safety valve industry experience.
