Job Summary

Senior-level Materials & Coatings engineer responsible for interpreting internal and external business challenges within the Materials & Coatings discipline, solving complex problems, and leading metallurgy execution. Leads metallurgy teams on detailed design and FEED projects, coordinates with project management and customers, and ensures adherence to standards across oil & gas assignments in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design per design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards
•Lead the metallurgy engineering design of the assigned work area and ensure completion within the planned schedule and budget
•Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of metallurgy execution on the project including scope, deliverables, schedule, and manpower resources
•Direct small metallurgy teams as a Lead Engineer and coordinate with other departments to ensure interfaces and deliverables are identified
•Communicate effectively with Customers, project team, and relevant authorities; lead engineering design basis, specifications, and technical documentation

Key Requirements

•15-20 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design
•Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering
•Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods and familiarity with standards, codes, and guidelines
•Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills
•Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or member of a professional engineering society
