Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, service, and repair vehicle-powered (diesel engine) road transport refrigeration units.
  • •Monitor and assess fleet condition and suggest corrective actions where appropriate.
  • •Optimise and maintain engineer van stock to support service delivery and cost control.
  • •Ensure daily safety checks are completed for the company van and follow Health & Safety procedures and ISO9001 standards.
  • •Liaise with central control/service centre for job timing, downtime and approvals; complete paperwork/PDA requirements and support planning, installations, and commissioning.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to GCSE level (3 grade C’s or above).
  • •Qualified to 2078 Refrigerant Handling and 2079 F-Gas.
  • •Experienced in electrics including 3-phase and brazing (certified).
  • •Time-served refrigeration/air conditioning or commercial engineer with at least 5 years’ experience.
  • •Clean UK driving licence and able to travel extensively (overnight stays, nights/weekends, on-call roster).
