Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate parts from steel, aluminum, and cast metals according to blueprint specifications.
  • •Set up, operate, and perform periodic maintenance on machines (shear, Finn Power, Prima, press brakes/benders, Trump Laser) using work instructions and travel documents.
  • •Maintain job progress and communicate concerns appropriately.
  • •Support quality by measuring finished parts with tape measures/calipers, performing visual inspections, and troubleshooting nonconforming parts.
  • •Comply with safety and 5S requirements, conduct root-cause analysis for quality/production issues, and cross-train/stand in for other roles when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •At least 1 year of metal fabrication technician experience.
  • •Experience as a machine operator or graduation from a machine certificate program.
  • •Experience in sheet metal fabrication, including standard punch and bend tooling and processes (preferred).
  • •Ability to read blueprints/manufacturing drawings and operate measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers (preferred).
