Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate contractors and support delivery of field-based environmental monitoring programs in line with the Argyle Monitoring and Maintenance Plan.
  • •Support environmental sampling, manage monitoring equipment and systems, and ensure safe, compliant monitoring activities.
  • •Validate, analyze, and report environmental data to identify trends, risks, improvement opportunities, and compliance matters.
  • •Support monitoring-related budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  • •Maintain relationships with Traditional Owners and collaborate with regulators, consultants, Indigenous-owned businesses, and Rio Tinto teams to support culturally respectful closure outcomes.

  • •Coordinate scopes, tenders, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for environmental monitoring and rehabilitation work.
  • •Strong contractor management experience and ability to work effectively with contractors and stakeholders in remote locations.
  • •Experience in environmental monitoring, including water sampling, environmental data collection, and using monitoring equipment/technology.
  • •A Certificate in Environmental Management (or equivalent), plus a current Western Australian manual driver’s licence.
