Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist production supervisors and production leaders in transforming their line or area and sustaining improvements.
  • •Support development and optimization of capable processes and improvements through Daily Management Excellence (DME).
  • •Lead planning and execution of rapid improvement events (RIEs) to meet impact and improvement targets.
  • •Support transformation processes including scoping, training/pre-work, value stream analysis, and future-state execution activities.
  • •Drive execution and sustainment through mission control and tiered management systems while coaching and teaching foundational competencies.

  • •Support and enable Daily Management Excellence (DME) development and standardization of improvements.
  • •Plan and execute rapid improvement events (RIEs) and meet improvement targets (cycle time, lead time, delivery, quality, and safety).
  • •Utilize transformation methods including scoping, training and pre-work, and value stream analysis to create and execute breakthrough future states.
  • •Use Gemba activities for coaching, feedback, and accountability aligned to lean principles, including behavior change.
  • •Partner with production leaders to teach six foundational competencies and support self-assessment, calibration, and action plans.
